Costumer Reviews

Do not purchase this item! It has five metal gear wheelsand two plastic ones. At the slightest sign of a load the plastic gear wheels shear all the teeth off and the machine is fundamentally landfill. Fellowes do not provide spare parts and they are impossible to get anywhere on the 'Net so mine is going in the bin and I most certainly won't be obtaining something else created by this provider.

This shredder gets five-stars for what it does when new...it is noisy but it is low-cost!

Mine failed soon after light use (and no abuse!) and the fault is the a single piece of plastic in the gearing mechanism....it doesn't make sense to have 4 metal gear wheels and one plastic one....but there it is....throw-away society I guess.

If any one knows where to get a replacement plastic gear wheel I'd really like to know...I can't bring myself to thrash three.6 kgs of metal for the failing of a few grammes of plastic.
