The MS-450Cs features SafeSense® Technology, which automatically stops the shredding process if hands come into contact with the paper entry. The SilentShred feature minimises noise disruption when shredding, making this an ideal shredder for shared work spaces and a pull-out bin allows easy emptying of waste. In addition to paper, the MS-450Cs also shreds CDs, credit cards and staples. A separate opening and waste bin for CDs allows the separation of paper and CD waste.

This item does almost everything that it says it does. It is also extremely quiet in operation. If you do try and shred some thing that it is not content with like too thick, then you are given an very easy method of releasing the offending item. The Safe Sense technology is fantastic, but can confuse the user the initially couple of occasions, as it is incredibly sensitive. It is essential to use the waste bags as the shredded material is especially smaller. As a dwelling or light home business use, this is an wonderful investment and the best shredder I have ever purchased.

It can shred upto 7 pages at when (such as staples) and has facilities for shredding of CD/DVD's too. It comes with the SafeSense Technology so if your (or tiny ones) hands get close to the shredding mechanism and touch the metal surround it automatically cuts out.
The actual shredding mechanism is effective too - pretty quiet and shreds items into Extremely modest pieces. Prior to this device we utilized a low-priced Supermarket shredder which essentially cut items into long thin strips - this behemoth honestly does shred items into tiny pieces - there's no way right after applying this that everyone would be able to recompile and use the infomation!
The only downside to this is the expense - not actually aimed at the average dwelling user - a lot more for corporations, but you wont acquire a even more thorough and function packed shredder in the industry, I'm positive of it!
