As Cool As Ice
The DS-1200Cs also features a thermal overload protector which stops the shredder temporarily when it senses it is getting too hot. Once activated, the shredder will automatically shut down and a red light will advise you that this safety protector has activated.
Emptying your shredder has never been as simple as it is with the DS-1200Cs. Featuring a pull out bin ensures there is no lifting and difficult repositioning when placing the head back on the bin.

Costumer Evaluations
The shredder produces a especially clean cut and incredibly efficiently shreds the paper. I have tried diverse paper quantities and it copes particularly well, it has not jammed so far.
I have a kid, so the safety mechanism is highly really good. Other than a power switch at the back of the unit and yet another reverse/off/forwards switch on the top rated, there is also a sensor along the silver trim at the top rated of the unit that switches the unit off when touched. This works very nicely and ensures safety when left on.
The unit has a thermal cut-out, but I have not abused the unit, so its under no circumstances been put to the test. In theory when it operates (i.e. you have abused the machine) it will take some time to reset and then you can resume shredding.
The paper bin is of fine size and the front has a clear window which shows the level in the bin. Unlike some other units the bin can be removed without having having to lift the shredder assembly (frequently like a lid on a bin), so this is substantially cleaner and safer. The unit switches off if the bin is removed, as a safety function.
I had a less expensive shredder previously, it was frustrating to use as it never coped well with a number of sheets (spent ages reversing). So invest far more and get a thing that is extra dependable. Under no circumstances had to reverse something but with this a single.
A fine purchase, would advocate.
